I'm 21 from Texas with a 2.5 year old son. I got
pregnant when I was 18 and had him right before I turned 19. His father and I are not together, though we are friends
and he is in his son's life, but we are happy that way and it's better to be happy than fighting. We picked out the name Ethan
because that was the ONLY name we could agree on...though now I'm a little mad because it ended up being on the top 10 list
for 2002. Anyway, he gets his middle name, Michael, from a name that I have always loved but never wanted to be my child's
first name. His dad didn't want it but knew I was going to put it down on the birth certificate rather than leaving it blank.
He got over it! I do plan, one day, to get married and hopefully have another child or two but either way, I have my son and
that's all I really need.
